AntiHero Pill Graphic

Got this in the other day from the dudes at DLX. Pretty psyched on it. Obviously being a skateboarder, I get excited when I get to work with original board graphics.
Antihero is showing a bunch of stuff from their archives this weekend down in San Pedro.
I was told not to touch the pills with my bare hands. Apparently they're not the recreational kind, they're the female hormone kind....

Hush Rush

I got a bunch of prints in from English artist Hush yesterday. He's got a show opening Thursday at Fifty24SF. I know, how'd I turn around 10 pieces in 24 hours? Elves, magic elves....

DeathMask

I custom milled some wood to build a shadowbox for this death mask. I did some experimental finishing on it and I think it turned out not too bad. Maybe sometime I'll get to frame a whole head.

some watercolors

I got these small watercolors by Winifred Nazarian in last week and put some big frames on them.

Jen Garrido dropped off this piece last week. She does some interesting b/w ink images. Check out her link for more work.

I got another one of Francesca Pastine's ArtForum pieces in today. This one along with the others is going to be up at the SFMOMA Artists Gallery next week. You should make the trek to Fort Mason and check it out.

Fish va ir a Mexico

I just finished reading Watership Down. Its a book about rabbits and this picture totally reminds me of the book.
Jeremy brought in some drawings that he's taking down to Mexico City in April. I think there's an Upper Playground store/gallery opening up down there.

Francesca Pastine

Francesca brought in more of these ArtForum pieces she's been working on. They're going to be part of a group show at the Fort Mason Center next week.

This Old Map

I got this map of Harwich, Massachusetts in Cape Cod last week. It was printed in 1880. 1880! Thats like 129 years old. By far the oldest thing I've had in the shop. Its so old that instead of street names it just has the names of the people that lived there. Pretty cool.

GEAR-AR-DELLY

here's a somewhat panoramic view

My friend Murray brought this old double sided Ghirardelli sign in a few weeks ago. I custom milled some wood and finished it so both sides are visible. Now we just have to figure out which way to hang it...

More Katie Baum photos

Framed up this trio of photos the other day.
Besides being a great photographer, Katie also curates art shows at Zinc Details. Guess who's showing art there the next couple of months... I am. More info on that later.

Acid like your mother used to make

Bor Nalpak brought in this Acid Mothers Temple poster the other day. Its been a while since I've done a rock poster. Did I ever mention that I probably framed almost every poster in the Fillmore and the old Warfield? Yep. Can't get enough of them rock posters. You got some? Bring 'em in.

Fette's Vette

Mike from Babylon Burning had me frame up this print by Lil' Tuffy
What? you've never heard of Babylon Burning? Only the best screenprinting shop in SF. And I'm not just saying that because he employees a bunch of my friends and gives my band good deals on shirts either. Check out the link.
Lil' Tuffy? Pretty rad guy. Makes a bunch of cool hand screened show posters and other random things. And he loves bacon. Don't believe me? Check out his website and check out Pop's on Mondays and have him serve you up some bacon to give those cheap beers some flavor.
